Tangerang, (27/12/2026) – As the representative of Universitas Multimedia Nusantara, Rector UMN, Dr. Andrey Andoko just got his appreciation from Indonesian Philanthropy Association (Perhimpunan Filantropi Indonesia/PFI). This appreciation isn’t just a symbol, but as a concrete demonstration of UMN’s efforts to deliver positive impact to the broader community, encompassing both humanitarian values and sustainability.
Indonesian Philanthropy Association (Perhimpunan Filantropi Indonesia) has been a nonprofit organization since 2003. As stated on the official website of the Indonesian Philanthropy Association, its mission is not as a funding distributor, but to encourage the creation of an environment that supports the development of philanthropy in Indonesia. UMN’s involvement as a member reflects its active role in supporting community engagement initiatives, in line with the institution’s commitment to building a sustainable philanthropy ecosystem in Indonesia.
“PFI plays an important role with UMN, because it is aligned with the UMN program which is supporting sustainability. One of our programs that we are always pushing through for our academic program is community engagement. This program isn’t just an activity but it always involved Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) points and also contributed to improve the well-being of communities in UMN’s partner villages”, says Dr. Andrey Andoko as Rector of UMN.

Beside that, Andrey also added that with UMN Involvement and active participation, PFI also took a part in providing UMN to build networks and collaborate with various companies that run Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs, as well as other initiatives encompassing the SDGs.
“This appreciation obviously motivates UMN to always contribute more in the future through community engagement programs, further than that, through UMN’s active involvement in PFI, more companies can collaborate on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives,” he explained.
Andrey himself expected that UMN could always give positive impact either for the society which will involve the students, lecturers, also UMN’s staff. With these, UMN is not only contributing in sustainability but also giving the real action to improve the well-being of Indonesian society.
