Zero-Tolerance Approach Toward Bribery, Corruption, and Unethical Conduct.
Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN) adopts a zero-tolerance approach toward bribery, corruption, and unethical conduct. These principles are formally established in the Company Regulation of Yayasan Multimedia Nusantara (Peraturan Perusahaan UMN 2024–2026), which serves as the primary governance framework for all employees and institutional units.
Under these regulations, employees are strictly prohibited from misusing university or foundation assets, including physical, financial, and digital resources. This includes removing institutional property from campus without written authorization, as well as accessing or using digital assets improperly. The misuse of equipment, documents, money, or any other property—including used goods—is explicitly forbidden under Article 8, Sections 1–4, with violations subject to sanctions as outlined in Section 5.

The regulations also uphold academic integrity by prohibiting plagiarism and any act of claiming intellectual work without proper acknowledgment.
In addition, UMN enforces a strict prohibition on receiving gifts or gratification. Employees are not allowed to accept any form of benefit—such as money, goods, services, discounts, commissions, interest-free loans, travel tickets, accommodation, medical services, or other incentives—that are unrelated to institutional interests or that could lead to abuse of authority. This is regulated under Article 8 and enforced through penalties specified in Article 10, Sections 1–5.

Furthermore, employees are prohibited from engaging in activities that may harm the university, including providing false financial reports related to funds or facilities (Article 13, Section 3, Subsections s and t). The regulations also ban participation in gambling activities, whether conducted offline or online, within the university environment (Article 13, Section 3, Subsection w).

Through these comprehensive policies, UMN reinforces its commitment to integrity, transparency, and accountability in all institutional operations and decision-making processes.
