Sustainable Investment Policy

Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN) has established a Sustainable Investment Policy under Rector’s Decree No. 682/SK-R/XII/2024 to integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles into all investment decisions. The policy focuses on directing resources toward projects and partners that deliver measurable sustainability benefits.

The policy requires collaboration with financial institutions, government agencies, and organizations that align with sustainable development goals, while promoting research and innovation in green investment. Implementation measures include shifting conventional energy sources to renewable alternatives, with operational solar panels on campus, and ensuring facilities and electronic devices comply with recognized sustainability certifications such as EPEAT, SNI, and ISO 14001.

External purchasing prioritizes environmentally responsible products and supports sustainability-minded industries, while vehicle fleets are gradually converted to low-emission, environmentally friendly fuel. The policy also encourages sustainable investment in UMKM partners that contribute to community welfare and social impact.

These measures are fully implemented across the university, ensuring sustainable investment principles are actively applied and monitored. Through this framework, UMN reduces environmental impact, optimizes resource efficiency, and achieves measurable improvements in ESG performance.
