Reasonable Accommodation Policy

Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN) ensures inclusive access to education and campus facilities for students with disabilities through a comprehensive policy framework established in Decree No. 684/SK-R/XII/2024 concerning the Implementation Provisions of Inclusiveness Values and Decree No. 680/SK-R/XII/2024 on the Accommodation Policy. These decrees provide a formal institutional strategy to guarantee that all students, regardless of physical or mental ability, have equitable opportunities to participate fully in academic and campus life.

The policy addresses the specific needs of students with disabilities across academic and residential contexts. Residential support under the Accommodation Policy includes placement of students using wheelchairs on the ground floor, provision of wheelchairs for students or visitors, guiding blocks and braille signage for visually impaired students, a dormitory website designed for accessibility, and free transport via UMN buses to facilitate mobility to and from campus. These measures demonstrate both strategic planning and the allocation of resources to implement accommodations effectively.
